The Art of Being Healthy & Well: National Symposium

On the 22nd of June 2022 the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media and the Minister for Health jointly affirmed their recognition of the health and wellbeing benefits of creativity and arts at a national symposium held at the Royal College of Physicians in Dublin.

The symposium was co-hosted by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media (Creative Ireland Programme), the Department of Health (Healthy Ireland), the Health Service Executive and the Arts Council. It signals a significant step towards embedding creativity and arts within the delivery of health and social care in Ireland.
