The 100 Dogs Project is a community engagement project with artist Tom Campbell. The Cork-based visual artist has brought his love for papier-mâché as a fast and environmentally sustainable way of making sculpture to Clonmel for a six-week residency in the run up to the Clonmel Junction Arts Festival.
The groups involved in the project include: The National Learning Network, Ancaire Autism Outreach, RehabCare Group Clonmel, The Circular Square Group, Clonmel Tidy Towns Volunteers, Cluain Training Centre, Traveller Health Project, Clonmel Youth Training Enterprise, St Mary's Parochial School, Saint Oliver's N.S., Sisters of Charity N.S. (and Special Needs Unit), and Ardfinnan N.S.
During the build-up to the Clonmel Junction Arts Festival, the 100 Dogs Project workshops are taking place in the Showgrounds Shopping Centre, with drop-in sessions for the public also scheduled every Saturday until 21st June from 10am to 4pm.
