This pilot arts programme will involve residents who are seeking asylum in Ireland at the new Emergency Direct Provision Centre in Courtown North Wexford.

The programme was designed based on direct input from participants who are keen to engage in creative activities, individually and in family groups. This six month arts programme will cover creative activity such as jewellery making/craft with artist Dagmar Byrtusova and visual arts with artist David Begley.

It is hoped this project will allow participants to express themselves creatively and aid them in creating a stronger sense of community.

This project will  be delivered in  partnership with Wexford Local Development
