The Story Hunters designed illustrations and narratives to bring this legend to life as a Story Trail. Culture Team Sligo, in collaboration with Sligo County Council Parks and Recreation, have identified a suitable public park where this colourful legend brought to life by the Story Hunter’s design can be enjoyed by citizens and visitors to the region.

In addition to the story trail an illustrated booklet will be printed for children to learn a little more about this local legend.

Creative Ireland funding is sought for two Story Hunter workshops during summer 2025 to finalise the design of this story trail and booklet, printing and installation of the story trail, and printing of the accompanying booklet.
