'Bogmen, First and Last' is a collaborative project between the writer Eileen Casey and Kilcormac Economic Development Association. The aim is to profile Bord na Mona workers and to explore their experiences with regard to working on Boora Bog, among others, in the Midlands. The end result will be a publication, documenting people, story and landscape. Our bogs are very important to our culture. 'Bogmen First and Last' will highlight this importance, both from past perspective, cultural and climate changes and going forward.
