Town Hall Theatre's 'Brining It All Back Home' Project

Three of five Galway City Nursing Homes will be invited to nominate a resident to interact with an artist (a theatre maker/musician/writer). Each artist will be selected according to the interests of the nursing home resident. The artist will connect with the resident via phone or zoom and possibly also with the resident's family, listening to their story.

Following this interaction, each artist will create a short theatre/music piece for online broadcast, which is inspired by and dedicated to this resident - this could (but wouldn't have to) include the resident's experience of the C-19 Pandemic - it could be anything, their childhood memories, their life, perhaps even just one event in their life - whatever emerges from the creative interactions between the resident and the artist, and with the resident retaining final right of approval of the work.
