The Carnival Finalé is the closing act of the annual Carnival Ballyshannon Parade, which is itself the culmination of a month long period of workshops in carnival skills - dance, movement in costume and props, samba drumming - undertaken by a wide range of schools and community groups in the Ballyshannon catchment area. The Finalé will involve a march-past and public acknowledgement of all of the participating groups in the Carnival Parade followed by the raising of a fire sculpture, created by LUXe Landscape Theatre Company, over the River Erne, to a specially commissioned soundtrack created by well known Ballyshannon musician and producer, Keith Mannion (aka. Slow Place Like Home)
