Clare Embroidery Connect is an immersive day of making & exchanging that will culminate in an exhibition of creative embroidery samplers, taking inspiration from the Clare Museum embroidery collection.

This creative embroidery workshop is organised by the Limerick School of Design, TUS, FORGE Design Factory and Clare Museum.

Materials will be provided but feel free to bring a piece of work in progress.

The workshop is open to creatives of all abilities and all disciplines. If you are just starting out there will be tutors on hand to guide and encourage.

Come together, create together, sharing skills, techniques, stories and learn about the rich heritage of Clare embroidery. Have the opportunity to showcase your work as part of the Clare Embroidery Connect exhibition.

The 1 day workshop will take place in the at the Limerick School of Art & Design, Clare St, Limerick.

Morning session 9:30 -1:00pm

Lunch break 1:00 - 2:00 pm (Lunch is not included but LSAD canteen will be open to participants)

Afternoon session 2:00 - 5:00 pm

Reflection and exhibition of works 5:00 - 6:00pm
