Clare County Library launched its latest story trail and Summer Stars 2022 at John O’Sullivan Park, Lees Road, Ennis.
Thanks to the author Emer O’Neill, illustrator Debby Rahmalia and publishers Gill Books for their kind permission to display the beautiful picture book The Same But Different. This story is about inclusion and diversity and how we can all be different and still part of the same community.
A story trail is a picturbook in exhibition format, usually placed in an outdoor setting. This story trail allows members of the public to access reading in a new environment, and share reading for pleasure with family and friends. The Lees Road is a sports and leisure facility and is an initiative of Active Ennis, Clare County Council. The story trail will travel to new locations in Clare throughout the year.
Copies of the book are also available for borrowing at deValera Library, Ennis.
Summer Stars, the nationwide reading programme runs in all Clare libraries during June, July and August. Children who join the summer reading adventure automatically enter a draw, to win a visit to their school in Autumn from award-winning author Judi Curtin.
