Clonmel  Applefest aims to celebrate Clonmels unique sense of place by bringing people and communities together to explore its natural and built heritage, offering quality artistic and creative experiences that encourages cross sectoral dialogue and collaboration and hosting innovative and convivial public realm experiences that engage people around arts, food, crafts, nature and heritage. The programme includes a storytelling residency and performance, a special commission of wood and branch figures which will be displayed around the town, an interactive Biodiversity Bug and Butterfly cabin with performer and nature scientist Louis Garcia and a selection of interactive craft workshops by guest artists for the Apple & Heritage Day.
