The aim of this initiative is to provide invaluable training and development opportunities for our choir members, enhancing both their vocal skills and their confidence in performance, in addition to fostering creativity, collaboration, and personal growth for the choir members who are mainly family carers. 

Clonmel Carers Choir was formed in October 2024 and has been going from strength to strength. The choir consists of up to 15 members, made up of family carers, former carers and friends of carers from the community. 

The proposed workshops, led by an experienced vocal coach, will cover three key areas: 

Voice Training and Harmonies: Focusing on improving vocal technique and harmony singing, each session will be tailored to the choir's current skill level. The coach will provide individual guidance, helping choir members strengthen their voice and blend more effectively with their peers.

Choir Performance and Confidence Building: This workshop will build on the choir's existing repertoire, using performance-based exercises to increase comfort and expression while singing. The interactive and supportive nature of these exercises will help choir members develop greater confidence in their performance abilities
