Clonmel Pride presents Drag & Draw with Jeanie Mac
DRAG & DRAW
Drag & Draw, renowned across Ireland and internationally for their unique life drawing events, recently received the Arts & Entertainment Award at Ireland’s Galas LGBTQ+ Awards in recognition of their contribution to creativity and community-building.
ABOUT THE EVENT
Guided by the experienced Drag & Draw team and supported by Clonmel Pride’s committee, participants of all skill levels (ages 13+) are invited to partake in a variety of drawing exercises. Featuring drag performance artist Jeanie Mac as the model, plus expect lively lip-sync performances from our Clonmel Queen!
Please note: model will be clothed in fabulous attire!
The event will be an informal gathering for both beginners and experienced artists, designed to encourage creative expression and promote inclusivity. The goal is to create an affirming, fun and culturally enriching space that welcomes people from all backgrounds and abilities.
The event is run by Drag & Draw's Adrian Colwell, with art instructor Ailbhe O’Connor facilitating the drawing exercises. Basic drawing materials are provided but feel free to bring your own (dry) materials.
