The Community ‘Time Machine’ is an age-friendly, intergenerational project which involves 5 communities across County Clare. It connects 10 young people to 10 senior citizens who live near them. Facilitated interviews are conducted between the young person and the older person. 

Clare County Council’s Rural Development Department and the Neighbourhood Network (Street Feast CLG) will work closely with the 5 communities to produce a Community Time Capsule or Time Machine. The time capsule will contain recorded responses from participants, artworks and photos to create an image of how the community looks now and in the past.
