Cork City Council Creative Communities Grants - Information and Networking Session

The Cork City Council Creative Communities Grant Scheme offers funding of up to €3,000 for community groups to collaborate with artists/creatives on projects that celebrate creative expression. In 2024 we're on the lookout for ambitious and innovative initiatives that not only enrich individuals and communities but also spark positive social and economic impacts. Cork City Council is hosting two information and networking events which aim to help community groups and creative practitioners to navigate this Creative Communities funding. Open to all, the sessions will offer insights into available funding for a community's creative projects. They will showcase success stories of previously funded projects and give attendees the opportunity to hear firsthand from previously funded creative practitioners and community representatives about their experiences. The application process will be explained step by step, and a question-and-answer session will follow.

These events will allow diverse communities within Cork City to connect with artists, explore potential projects, and forge creative partnerships, while creative practitioners with socially engaged practice will have a chance to identify communities eager for collaboration.
