2019 Action
- Put out a call to the people of Cork City to nominate their favourite song by an Irish artist along with their reason for nominating it.
- A shortlist of 10 songs will be compiled by an independent jury
- A CD of the 10 songs produced performed by local musicians
- 2 of the short-listed songs to be featured on a local radio station/TV programme each week, with a short discussion
- The public will vote on their favourite song through well publicised polling boxes in public spaces throughout the city and on online.
The winning song will be announced at a performance of the 10 songs in The City Library MC’d by a local personality/musician
