Country Connects Gets Creative

Country Connects Gets Creative develops creative thinking through photography for the Wexford Walking Trails group. Joined by a professional photographer while they walk, participants will be encouraged to see the landscapes through an alternative lens, while being guided through techniques and processes for capturing nature photos on a camera phone. This placemaking project develops observational skills, and a deeper appreciation and understanding of the biodiversity that makes the walking trails in Wexford so special and unique. An outdoor activity rooted in nature and exercise, the wellbeing and health benefits are also high.

Participants will be given the opportunity to submit one photo from their collection for use in n online gallery, hosted by Wexford Walking Trails. A selection of the photographs will be curated for an exhibition held during the Wexford Walking Trails Festival in September.
