Creative Places Shannon, an initiative of the Arts Office of Clare County Council, will work with Fidget Feet Aerial Dance Company and ArtsEkta (Belfast) on a Creative Communities Shared Island intercultural project which will see commissioned work and community participation with the groups as part of the Clare Mela- in June and the Derry Halloween Festival in October. 

Furthermore, Fidget Feet and Arts Ekta will spend a period of research and development focussing on how they can work together to extend the Mela experience throughout the island of Ireland, building on existing relationships and potential partnerships.
