Creative Writing Workshops were initiated for a select group of residents at St. Columba's Hospital, Sligo by facilitator Ms Geraldine Finn.

The aim of the Creative Writing Programme was to provide an opportunity to both long term and short term inpatients at St. Columba’s Psychiatric Hospital in Sligo access to a cultural recreation event organised by Sligo Library service.  Sligo Library Service strives to ensure inclusion of those who may experience barriers to accessing services and these workshops were offered on an outreach basis.
