Wexford is developing a digital strategy supported by arts and education programmes to develop 21st century skills in technology and encourage collaborations between creative arts and coding.
For 2019 as part of this strategy a series of workshops on new technology learning for young people were held in the 5 libraries around county Wexford. These workshops included 3D design with Tinkercad and Micro bit training. By using 3D printers it allowed young people to see their designs coming out as printed objects creating a great source of excitement!
These creative/ arts and technology projects will be showcased during the annual science festival WexSci in November 2019.
