'Design Mingle: Creative Connections' is a six‑part networking and speaker series led by CREW (Creative Enterprise West), strengthening Galway's creative community through connection, knowledge‑sharing, and public engagement. Building on previous Design Mingle events (May 2024–Dec 2025) in partnership with LEO Galway, the expanded programme runs monthly from May to October 2026, bringing together practitioners, professionals, students, and the public. 

Each event features a guest speaker at the intersection of creativity and key themes—cultural rights, health, community, and climate action. Sessions take place in CREW's Innovation Lounge, combining a keynote with informal networking to foster collaboration and peer learning. 

A core new element is a digital content series: all talks are professionally recorded and edited for online release in October 2026, extending reach to students, young people, and wider audiences. In 2025, over 190 attendees expressed interest in sharing highlights with children and networks. The programme supports Galway's vision of a connected, inclusive creative ecosystem and reinforces CREW's role as a hub for creative enterprise and community development.
