Digital Story-Telling for Donegal's Natural and Human Heritage
In this project, we will produce a digital showcase, in the form of a ESRI Arc StoryMap, to tell the stories of 10 sites County Donegal that help to explain how modern and ancient peoples' lived their lives within the changing landscapes of the past 10,000 years. Specifically, we will present ten sites in a timeline, each focused on a location, building, archaeological site, or combination thereof, in County Donegal that exemplifies the natural and human history of our county. The sites are Old Church Dunlewey, St. Colmcille's Abbey, Grianan of Aileach, Doe Castle, Poison Glen, Magheraroaty & Ballyness Bay, Bad Eddie shipwreck & machair, St. John's Point & lighthouse, Brinlack morraines & stonewalls, and Gweebara River estuary.
