This Eco Showboat - Banners & Flags 2022 project is to be delivered in the context of the first Eco Showboat expedition, a journey on the Shannon in a solar electric boat to raise awareness of Climate Change and to spark community action to address the challenges it entails.

This historic journey will launch from Limerick on May 1st 2022 and travel from there up the Shannon working with communities to address this important issue of our time.  

Limerick City, is there home town and a municipality that has nurtured there work over many years (They made there first interactive exhibition for the Limerick City Gallery of Art in 2006) is there chosen site for launching the Eco Showboat - Banners and Flags project.  

School of Looking and the Eco Showboat team have the good fortune to be working collaboratively with Limerick Artists Deirdre Power and Chelsea Canavan, who have designed the banners and flags to celebrate this historic journey.
