Translation and upload of Irish version of the audio guide tour to an existing suite of audioguide translations at Elizabeth Fort;  European Funding has been received for the languages of project partners, but Irish and Italian will help to ensure a full suite, and add cultural value.  

The EU Interreg (Atlantic Area)  MMIAH Project concerns the recovery and valorization of maritime, military and industrial heritage of the Atlantic coast. The core focus of this project in Cork  is the development of a suite of tourism related products designed to enhance the visitor experience at Elizabeth Fort.  The MMIAH Project arranged for the new audioguides at Elizabeth fort in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese – the languages of the project partners.

Abarta Audioguides (who were procured earlier this year through the MMIAH Project to research and provide the script, and upload content to audio guide hardware) will carry out the work.
