EIFF is Ireland’s first ‘fantastic genre’ film festival.  Fantastic genre covers, horror, fantasy and sci-fi films. 

The festival is a collaborative project between Ennis Chamber, Technological University of the Shannon,  Limerick Clare Education and Training Board and Clare County Council. 

EIFF 2023 will run from 28 -30 October and will present:

• Selected screening programme of short and feature films (both Irish and international) chosen from award entries with a separate programme dedicated to short films made in our local Mid-West region.
• An opening night premier.
• Child-friendly daytime screenings at Arc Cinema
• Panel discussions featuring leading industry professionals
• International calibre workshops delivered by experienced industry professionals
• Workshops dedicated to young adults with an interest in film (e,g. workshop on prosthetics)
• Networking opportunities for local film makers
