Festival in a Van Clare

Festival in a Van is a mobile venue that travels around Ireland bringing music to unorthidox places; from care homes to community settings, schools to town squares.

Performances take place from a pop up stage or in the venue itself. Originally set up during COVID to bring the magic of live performances to community settings around the country, Festival in a Van has become an established way to offer local audiences and event organisers with a completely mobile and flexible solution to live performance in any setting. In particular their Shared Music Sessions allows audiences from multiple nationalities to come together to perform and celebrate a love of music from around the world.

This year Festival in a Van will bring Shared Music Sessions to two locations in Clare, with performers and audience members from the Ukrainian community invited to participate. Performers will be a mixture of Ukrainians and Irish who will play together with plenty of audience participation along the way.

On Saturday 17 June the Van will visit the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cratloe at 11:15 am, and then travel to the Hotel Woodstock in Ennis for a second performance at 15:45 pm.

This event is free and all are welcome to attend.
