Greta's forgaging walks across Tipperary will immerse people from all walks of life including children into the world of foraging and the world of plants on their doorstep including ditches, river banks,mountains and hills and to appreciate the importance of plants in our local environment.
Participants will visit local communities and immerse themselves into the world of herbal medicine through looking at the plants growing around them and gaining an insight on herbal remedies both past and present.
Furthermore these walks will be developed to create a source of information of these plants around our area and how they can be used in medicine be it through an online website or booklets.
