With the support of funding from the Creative Ireland Health & Wellbeing in the Community programme, we are delighted to announce this extended arts project supporting children with chronic life-long physical health conditions aged from 8 – 16 across the Mid-West region in 2024 and 2025. The Creative Ireland & Healthy Ireland departments within Tipperary County Council, Limerick County Council & Clare County Council along with staff from the HSE are partnering with Helium Arts to provide this programme of creative activities to children in the Outpatients Department in University Hospital Limerick and in various other locations in Nenagh, Ennis and Limerick. This project will provide activity camps to children aged 8 – 12 and the teenage category of 13-16.
Helium Arts is a children’s charity committed to improving the well-being of children and young people in Ireland who are living with lifelong physical health conditions. They offer free creative workshops, both in communities and online, led by professional artists.
