In 2026, Laois Arts Office supported the continuation and expansion of Inclusive Dance Sessions at St. Fintan’s Link Centre. Building on the success of a pilot programme that concluded in early 2026, a new series of 12 weekly dance sessions was launched in March and ran through to June 2026.

The project provided an accessible and welcoming environment for participants of all abilities to engage in creative movement, physical activity, and social interaction. Through regular weekly sessions, the programme promoted inclusion, wellbeing, confidence-building, and community participation, while continuing to strengthen and develop a supportive local dance community. The initiative demonstrated Laois Arts Office’s commitment to increasing access to the arts and creating meaningful opportunities for inclusive cultural engagement across the county.
