Inclusive Dance

Inclusive Dance Club is a creative dance programme for children and young people with additional needs, offering opportunities to explore dance with a team of professional dance artists in a calm, welcoming, and supportive environment. 

The project delivers weekly classes, along with additional opportunities to take part in inclusive dance enabling participants to engage meaningfully with dance at their own pace, in a relaxed space, supported by a team of dance artists who lead group activities and provide one to one and smaller group support. 

Since its inception in 2023, the project has grown significantly through 2026. Development has included the delivery of weekly inclusive dance classes to an expansion of age ranges, growth and upskilling of the artist team, provision of wrap-around CPD for teaching artists, and increased visibility and awareness of inclusive dance practice within Limerick.
