Invitation to a Conversation is a series of multidisciplinary workshops that explore innovative and sustainable practices relating well-being to nature, creativity and community. Hosted by the Sown Society (artists Katie Joyce-Holmes and Juliana Doyle) at a bespoke, made-for-purpose venue in rural Coolgreaney, the workshop participants will be leaders in wellbeing, enterprise, curation, art production, psychotherapy, finance, food, culture, biodiversity and environment. Wexford ceramicist Elke Williams will create bowls for the locally sourced food that is prepared for invited guests.

The learning from the workshops will be documented in a placemaking ‘map’ called SOURCE. SOURCE will highlight and suggest where and how the local community can apply the learning in their own domestic and community practices. The map will be produced in three formats: a hand-held, recycled paper postcard; a digital format PDF; and a large-scale, wall-mounted map displayed at the Sown Society visitors space.
