Irish Aphasia Theatre will facilitate a series of free creative workshops for people who have brain injuries, aphasia or early brain disease. Irish Aphasia Theatre uses theatre and the performing arts to empower participants and enhance communication skills and confidence. 

In the workshops we will facilitate our returning and new disabled participants to acquire professional theatre communication skills to assist in their severe language and cognitive impairments. We will empower them with professional performing arts tools to create their own artistic expressions and work together via bespoke accessibly designed theatre exercises. All the workshop  facilitators are professional performing artists and arts and health practitioners. The workshops will take place in Blanchardstown Library.
