John Boyne O’Reilly – Artists Response Commission Project

Following on the success of the Francis Ledwidge and Mary Lavin artists response commission projects, award winning playwright Deirdre Kinahan curates an eclectic group of multi discipline artists to respond to the work and remarkable life of poet, journalist, author and activist John Boyle O'Reilly (28 June 1844 – 10 August 1890). Artists include Deirdre Kinahan, Lisa Lambe, Steve Wickham and Wayne Sheehy. The research and commission stage takes place in 2023 with performances of work devised to be performed in 2024 (dates tbc).
