This pilot project will introduce some aspects of lifewriting or lifestory telling  over 4 weeks. 

Participants will attend 4 x 2-hour workshops facilitated by Silver Thread, where they will gather memories and stories, on paper or orally, working with old photographs from their own family albums.

At the end of the 4 weeks, each participant will have at least 2 stories which can be typed up and added to their family album; a selection of those stories and photographs will be displayed at an event organised by Active Age and Silver Thread, possibly in December as part of Christmas celebrations.  To this end, Silver Thread will produce a series of posters, each representing a photograph and its story.
