Long Lane Artworks will be a project that encourages the residents of Long Lane, focusing mainly on young people as the core of the group, to explore the artistic side of themselves and to express that artistry through mural wall art within the very community they come from. Ideas and sketches of all kinds will be from all participants and put it into a piece of artwork that can be seen and appreciated by the participants and the residents of Long Lane.

Long Lane arts project will bring a new, exciting and positive image to Long Lane with the creation of these murals to the area. The project will promote and increase cultural and social inclusion by bringing residents from different ethnic backgrounds together. Through art and through cultural diversity, this project can not only improve the area of Long Lane but improve the people’s lives in the area and create the potential for an even safer, cleaner, more vibrant Long Lane. Through setting up of the Long Lane Area Residents Association, residents will now experience a form of artwork occuring on the Long Lane that they have never seen before.
