Writing Workshops -Beginners and improvers.
These workshops aim to foster and encourage creative writing especially for those of retirement age new to the practice while facilitating participants to mine memories, across the life-span, and prompt recall resulting in some compelling creative writing.
Margaret Galvin is a native of Cahir, long time resident in Wexford. A former Editor of Ireland’s Own, she has published six collections of narrative lyrical poetry, poetry that tells stories. Her most recent collection is Our House, Delirious from Revival Press, Limerick (2023). Her reminiscence essays are frequently broadcast on RTE 1 Sunday Miscellany and A Word in Edgeways. Her academic background is in Social Care, leading to a major interest in making writing available to diverse groups including persons with disability and other health and social care support needs in addition to general interest participants, especially those new to writing.
