Mould your Mind is a pottery throwing workshop series for members of the Loughlinstown Community Rooms (LCR) Women’s Shed and women in the local community, the programme is in response to a growing interest in pottery within the group. 

The workshops will run from June to July with ten women learning pottery throwing in a supportive and informal environment. After the programme, the LCR Women’s Shed plan to purchase the necessary equipment to enable pottery throwing to continue independently in the Shed after the workshops conclude. This will allow members to further develop their skills and to share the knowledge gained with the wider community.

The skills developed and pieces created during the workshops will be showcased at community events following completion of the programme. Participants will also have the opportunity to exhibit and sell their work at Christmas fairs and women’s bazaars, helping to sustain the Shed financially while strengthening links with the wider community.
