We are thrilled to bring our highly successful Music in the Moment programme to residential care settings in the county again in 2026. 

Music in the Moment provides high quality and highly responsive music experiences that aim to have a positive impact on the lives of older people, their families and healthcare professionals. Sessions include active and passive engagement, including listening and singing. It encourages group participation and social interaction, and includes one family/community concert per setting.

In 2026 we are thrilled to be collaborating with highly skilled musicians / musical groups Ruairí O'Shea, Eamon Sweeney and Lisa McGuinness, Newpark Music Academy, and Gerald Peregrine's Mobile Music Machine, who are delivering 6 interactive music performances in each setting. We are thrilled to partner with 5 settings across dlr, St. Joseph's Centre, Shankill, Dalkey Community Unit, Simpson's Hospital, Dundrum, Leopardstown Care Centre and The Fern Dean Nursing Home, Deansgrange. 

In 2026 we will continue our successful mentoring opportunity for 2 musicians to shadow the process, with built in mentoring led by highly experienced musicians Dr Eamon Sweeney and Lisa McGuinness.
