This fun two day creative arts workshop for 12-18 year olds will bring young people from ethnic minority backgrounds together with young people from the Irish community here in Donegal to exchange stories-myths, legends, folklore and superstitions from each other’s cultural backgrounds, make connections, build friendships and create together. Young people will write scripts from their own interpretations of the myths and legends shared and these stories will be acted out through storytelling and drama and filmed for screening. Writer, theatre maker and creative arts practitioner Eve Li will be leading the story exchange and creative writing with the young people and Shaun Doogan and Ciaran Mc Cann of Re Act Productions (the Daniel O’Donnell music videos are examples of their recent work!) will be helping the young people turn their scripts into film.
