‘Playing the Decision’ is a youth-led theatre project where young people in Nenagh create theatre based on real choices and real experiences. 

It is not about acting someone else’s story. It is about telling your own. Every day is full of decisions. Some feel small, others can change everything. Being a teenager means making choices while dealing with pressure, expectations, and systems you had no say in. 

This project brings those moments into the room and explores them through theatre. Working with theatre-makers Calvin Magee and Barry Morgan, participants will use games, improvisation, and interactive theatre to build scenes from their own lives. The work will not follow a single storyline. Instead, it will explore different directions and outcomes, showing how choices can shape what happens next.
