RECYCLING: WHEELS WITHIN WHEELS is a new literary project by Cork poet Fionn Rogan that explores cycling, sustainability and everyday life through a collection of haiku inspired by his daily journeys by bicycle. The project will culminate in the publication of Rogan's debut poetry chapbook and a public launch performance at the Cork World Book Festival 2026, featuring musician Mick O'Shea and supported by Poetry Ireland.

Combining environmental awareness with accessible, place-based creativity, the work invites audiences to reflect on their relationship with active travel, community and climate action. Following its launch, the project will tour nationally, bringing contemporary poetry to diverse audiences and supporting wider participation in the arts.

Produced in partnership with Cork City Libraries and Cork-based publisher Badly Made Books using sustainably sourced and recycled materials, the project demonstrates how creativity can contribute to environmental responsibility while supporting emerging artists, local enterprise and public engagement with culture.
