Meath County Council is restoring a one hundred year old Karn Reed Organ from the former St. Kinneth's Church in Ballivor.The organ is in need of extensive work with a complete refurbishment required.The work has been contracted out to specialists in the field, with restoration comprised of two separate components involving the external case restoration and the interior mechanism restoration.

Once the organ is fully restored the local authority will programme a variety of suitable cultural events in the newly restored St Kinneth's Church.The programme will be devised in partnership with the local community.
