See Hear
See Hear is an art project by Michael McLoughlin that endeavours to record the names of everyone living in Ennistymon and present them as part of an exhibition in The Courthouse Gallery & Studios this autumn.
Ennistymon is continuously changing and diverse place that continues to welcome new arrivals to our community seeking rest, refuge and love of neighbours, friends, and family. This artwork will celebrate this. See Hear is an art project acknowledges community, diversity, openness, and support while presenting a mechanism for participation and collective activity that sense of belonging.
If you’d like to get involved, the process only takes a minute, you simply say your name into a microphone. Michael will then process them in the studio to create the artwork. This recording will form the bases of the final artwork which will be launched as part of the Courthouse Gallery’s Autumn programme.
Michael will be hosting drop-in recording sessions at the Courthouse Gallery & Studios on
