Following on for the hugely successful Family fun day 2025 Autism Awareness Roscrea will This project will encourage the creative abilities of neuro diverse children and young adults including Autism, ADHD, SPD, ADD and the neurodiverse spectrum. 

Activities that are planned for the day will include: sensory friendly arts and crafts, developmentally appropriate games, small world activities, storytelling, music, sensory quiet tents, Lego building, floor play, face painting, zoo animal activities, juggling and balloon show and display, dress up, photo booth, choir music, supportive basketball, holistic therapies, vestibular activities to aid emotional regulation for neuro diverse children and young adults

We hope to encourage participation from local community groups and artists to ensure activities are implemented in a friendly manner. We encourage expressive free play and opportunities for interaction and development of social skills. Create opportunities for parents/carers to meet with other families thus creating relationships. Providing spaces to chat and thus create a sense of support in our community.
