We aim to continue to highlight the wide variety of Sligo people, events and stories through our online media. From our latest research, we are the only remaining county ‘chat show’ of it’s kind.
We have endlessly supported people in the creative space since our beginnings with multiple creative people and events all showcased for free.

We are an online chat show style show ( https://www.facebook.com/sligoshow/videos ) and also an audio podcast.
We have interviewed numerous people from all backgrounds in Sligo and helped many people tell their story or promote their projects/events/festivals.

In this project we would like to meet people who have come to Ireland as International Protection Applicants or Asylum Seekers and have made Sligo their home. We have spoken with Globe House, Sligo Leader and the Sligo Welcome Ambassadors to search for suitable guests and they were all very excited with the project.
As well as highlighting their creativity we think it would be good for more people to hear and understand their stories, especially because of the sometimes mis-informed narrative that exists.

As per the Creative Sligo series of 2024, and again, depending on the level of funding, we’d hope to do an extensive series of 8-10 guests.
