Soilse - Donegal Town's first festival of light will take place outdoors at night on the evenings of 11th and 12th of October 2024. Large-scale light sculptures will be scattered throughout Donegal Town and a parade of light will be held on the Saturday evening.

A warm invitation to the residents of Donegal Town and surrounding areas!

Join a group of local artists, share stories and ideas, learn new skills and be part of Soilse. We are meeting twice weekly during the month of August and September on a drop-in basis. Participants will design and help to build awe-inspiring sculptures and costumes for Soilse.

Workshops times and dates:

7-10pm Tuesday, 13th, 20th, 27th August
10am-1pm Saturdays from 17th August
September weekday workshop times TBC

Location: Sewing Room, Supervalu, F94 Y86X
No previous arts experience needed and all workshops are free. This project is open to and welcomes all members of the community, over 18 years.
