The legend of St. Brigid’s cloak tells us how she acquired the land on which to build her monastery. 

Over a series of three workshops in the Fingal Makerspace, participants will design their own Brigid’s cloak in the form of a quilt. 

Each three-hour session will focus on different aspects of the design and practicalities of printmaking and quilt construction, culminating in the creation of a large St. Brigid’s quilted cloak (Brat Bríde) for display on St. Brigid’s Day.
