When you make a film, you want audiences to watch it, and the soundscape is an essential compelling element in that. "Still, he waits" is Paul McGuckin’s first feature length documentary film and has been shortlisted for a potential premiere at this year's Galway Film Fleadh, an Oscar-qualifying festival. The Fleadh organisers watch 4,000 films, to pick just 80, of which 25 will be Irish. A key requirement for the film being accepted into the Fleadh is to have a professionally-designed soundscape - original music composed specifically for the film. Paul will work with soundscape artist and musician, Orri McBrearty, to develop this new, unique score, providing a defined creative addition to the film.
