The Summerstars is a literacy programme to encourage children for fun.  This national initiative is interactive. Children will be encouraged to view reading as a hobby, a fun activity and move away from school assigned reading to something that will engage the younger readers.

The reading cards will enable the children to keep a track on their reading over this time and give them a sense of pride in their achievement.
