The Tipperary Dance Platform is a year round programme that addresses both professionals and the community to create, support and entertain a contemporary dance culture in the county. TDP' is Tipperary Dance Platforms international festival. Since 2010, the festival has been bringing the best of the Dance world to county Tipperary staging shows around the county, in a programme that includes classes for the community , exhibitions, installations performances and much more. This year the Creative Ireland programme in Tipperary is delighted to support a number of initiatives including an event around  the screening of the St Michaels Girls national school programme funded by the Creative Schools Programme, the very popular Dance in the Library programme and a Symposium on 8-9 October entitled 'Dance & Tradition, Dance & Community'
