The Crop, The Shop and The Table

The Crop, The Shop and The Table’ is a Creative Ireland Tipperary project focusing on the development of Clonoulty's community garden in collaboration with Clonoulty Tidy Villages. This new community arts project explores the impact of collective gardening, growing and food production on positive health and wellbeing.  ‘The Crop, the Shop and the Table’ brings together the idea of community enterprise and a creative project to build meaningful community relationships and create a lasting community arts project by working with the entire food making process from the garden to the table! The focus of this project is on the growing, harvesting and consumption of a variety of peas and beans, which proved to be a huge hit with the youth of Clonoulty during the People’s Garden project in the summer of 2022. The process of cultivation to consumption of this simple crop will act as a vehicle for discussion, creativity and exchange of ideas over the next couple of months.

Residents of Clonoulty are invited to participate in this project in any way they can. Whether it's planting, building, cooking, watering, drawing or sharing ideas, join us this summer, Tuesdays, 6-8pm or Wednesdays, 10am - 12pm, at Clonoulty’s Community Garden, Priest’s Road for tea, refreshments, creative activities and chats.

For more info on how to take part in this community project drop by anytime Tuesdays 27th June - 1st August, 6pm - 8pm or Wednesdays 28th June - 2nd August, 10am - 12pm.
